Our Election Department is busy preparing for this election.  We will be working on the programming, ballot layout, printing and mailing the ballots as well as training our judges and part time employees.  We have some new changes in the Law that allows unaffiliated voters to choose a preference (Republican or Democrat) ballot but can only vote one and return it for counting.  The Secretary of State will be doing more public notices in the next few weeks. If you know anyone that needs to register to vote or change their address, they need to do this by May 29th so I can mail them a ballot.  After that, they need to go on line at  or go to any of our offices, city halls, or to the VSPC's (Vote Service and Polling Centers) and vote.
